در گذشته بسیاری از پروژه‌ها مثل NetBeans, Redhat, VMWare, VirtualBox, Android و ... بر روی سرورهای سی‌تو میرور گردیده بودند تا به آسانی در اختیار کاربران ایرانی قرار بگیرند (امکان پروکسی وجود داشت ولی سرعت اینترنت در اکثر نقاط کشور مناسب نبود). اما با توجه به دسترسی بهتر به اینترنت می‌تواند برای دستیابی به سرویس‌های تحریم شده از سرویس شکن (لینک) استفاده نمایید.
